Pink Up The Pace 5K

Zeta Tau Alpha's philanthropy is Breast Cancer Education and Awareness. Our goal is to improve the lives of women, their campuses, and the community through fundraising projects and programs. Every year we host a Pink Up The Pace 5k at our campus! We gave out medals to the top three runners and handed out the ZTA Think Pink ribbons. We raised money through our Crowdchange and registration fees. We always have so much fun putting this 5k together and spreading awareness about our philanthropy. 

Pink Week 

Breast Cancer Education and Awareness month is October, and every fall semester ZTA has a Pink Week on campus where we host events throughout the week to raise money for our philanthropy. Our biggest event by far is Big Man On Campus! Men from any organization at East Central can compete in a male beauty pageant to raise the most money from ticket sales, and to leave with the title of B.M.O.C. During the pageant, we sell refreshments, and let the crowd participate in Stick-It-To-Cancer by sticking money to tape! We also do events throughout the week to raise money! One of our other favorites is Pie-A-Zeta at the PINKOUT Football game!
